The Royal Morocco Tour

Description

Morocco is every traveler's dream. Colorful, culturally exciting and with an incredible landscape. Here, European influence is best mixed with its Arab and African roots. We will experience the royal cities and their unique history, the country's magnificent landscapes and the exciting cuisine.

Your Arrival will be to Marrakech and head to Rabat on the next day. From there you go to the old Sultan capital Meknès and the medieval Fès. Afterwards we drive south over the skies of Atlas to the oceans and the sandy sea and the dunes of the Sahara. Before we are "home" in Marrakech once again cross the Atlas Mountains.

  CASABLANCA - ARRIVAL

  Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V airport. Welcome, assistance and transfer to the hotel in Casablanca. Check-in, dinner and overnight.

  CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES

  Breakfast and meeting with the tour guide from 9h30am for the sightseeing of Casablanca, the business capital of Morocco with external visit of Hassan II great mosque before strolling along the Aïn Diab corniche. Independent lunch and departure to Rabat. Visit of the administrative capital of Morocco with the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum. Late in the afternoon, departure to Meknes for check-in, Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

  MEKNES - FES

  After breakfast, before departure to Fez we start with a visit to Meknes or « the Moroccan Versailles » which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail. The sightseeing of this city will include Bab Mansour, Hari Souani and the old medina. Independent lunch and right after a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss. Arrival to Fez, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

  FES

  After breakfast in the hotel, you will make a city tour that begins in Fez Medina, the old quarter called Fez el Bali. You will visit Medersa Attarine, a beautiful location for Islamic schools, dating from the fourteenth century, Qaraouiyine Mosque (exterior), one of the oldest Islamic universities and Nejjarine Souk, famous market where you can see the fountain with the same name. You can have lunch at a traditional restaurant located in the center of the medina. In the afternoon you will visit the souks and a workshop, leather processing, for which Fez is so famous.

  FEZ - BENI MELLAL - MARRAKECH

  After breakfast, departure to Marrakesh passing by Immouzer El Kander and Azrou; known for its handicraft cooperative. Through the wooded and mountainous region of the middle Atlas, arrival to Beni- Mellal. Independent lunch and continuation to Marrakesh. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  MARRAKECH

  After breakfast, the visit of Marrakech begins. The historical visit of the city is a journey marked by stages reminiscent of its construction: the famous Koutoubia, furnishing proof of the Hispano-Moorish art, with a 70m high minaret, the Palace of Bahia and its garden lined with orange trees, cypress, jasmine, splendors of cedar tree domes and marble columns in the Tombs of the Sâadian Dynasty. After lunch , the visit continues in the labyrinth of the Medina. Visiting the most famous souks in Morocco provides an occasion to admire all the richness of an immensely diversified craftsmanship. With the sunset at the square of Jemâa El Fna, acrobats, snake charmers, Gnaoua musicians wake up... a unique moment in its kind to penetrate Marrakech’s heart and spirit. Return and lodging at the hotel.

  MARRAKECH

  Breakfast in your accommodation , day free at leisure, an opportunity to enjoy a hammam or massage. In Lunch time, pick up to one of malls where we will have lunch followed by visit of main shopping malls where you will have the chance to buy the international marks in good prices. We schedule also a stop to buy souvenirs in the Medina where you can bargain or go to fixed prices shops. Return to your accommodation for overnight or plan a dinner somwhere around Medina.

  MARRAKECH - DEPARTURE

  After breakfast, check out and Departure transfer to Marrakech airport for return flight and assistance to the boarding formalities.
